Thematic reading workshops. Thematic reading workshops are extra-curricular activities which consist of choosing a book and a theme linked to the central message of the book. Have students read the book before and during the workshop then work on the content of the book while practicing the skill linked to the chosen theme.
The objective is to arouse a taste for reading in children, to teach them to identify the lessons and values conveyed in books. At the same time, these workshops rely on the central message of the book to learn and practice a skill.
The principle is to learn with joy and fun.
